Oddly, after the birth of my first child, I dropped weight from postpartum depression. That was 10 years ago. Since then, I birthed two more children and have never been able to get back to my pre-baby body which was a good 15lbs heavier. That may seem like a blessing to most people, but my look of “skinny” made me look very unhealthy and emaciated. I realized that though my body may have “looked” healthy to public opinion, I was far from it.
It took me a moment to realize that the years of unhealthy eating and lack of excercise made me sluggish, tired and way more impatient when it came to dealing with everyday life, especially with my children. What I once believed was great “genetics” was actually causing me harm. So after researching several personal trainers, I chose Sandy Hancock. And it has turned out to be one of the best decisions I have made in my life.
Her one-on-one coaching style made me feel like I was the only one she was working with! The fact that I was probably a small percentage of her clients that couldn’t put on weight, I could tell that the meal plans and cardio/weight training programs that she developed was customized just for me. I REALLY enjoyed her quick responses to any questions, concerns or issues that I had. And because of those traits, it made it hard to deviate from her plan. I did that once and the look of her disappointment in me made me never want to do it again.
Sandy takes your current lifestyle and goals to heart and she will help and support you until you reach your dreams. I pledge this to be true, because since meeting with her less than 1 year ago, she has transformed my eating habits and physical body and guided me to an NGA Pro title and NPC 1st Place in Masters and NPC 3rd Place in Open Bikini. With all my heart, thanks so much Sandy!!!
